A faction is a group of streamers or pets that are bound together by a common ground. There are six factions which each resemble emotes from Twitch.tv. Players can play under the banner of their favorite emote, which provides a range of combat benefits for streamers that increase their power on the battlefield. Players do not choose factions for their streamers. Instead, they are randomly assigned to one of six factions when they are summoned in the game. Every faction is also at war with another faction, and they have a slight advantage over the opposing tribe. By exploiting shortcomings in their defenses, factions can deal 100% increased damage against their conflicting counterpart.
However, even though factions are in opposition to each other, they still work together as allies. Players can obtain different auras that provide combat benefits by assembling streamers from the same faction and even streamers from different factions.
Pet Factions
The faction that a pet is part of determines its available abilities. Every faction provides a particular set of auto-skill and passive abilities for a pet that benefits the player in a particular area of the game. However, all factions also share some general passive abilities.

Rivaling Factions
Every faction has a rival faction which they deal 100% increased damage against. While one faction might attack another faction, they can easily be attacked as well, leaving every faction vulnerable to specific factions.
Auras
An aura is a stat-attribute ability that players gain by representing different factions in combat through their streamers. Depending on the player’s team composition, and represented factions, they gain additional stat-attributes in combat. Therefore, it can be beneficial for players to compose their team using different factions.
