The in-game version of Blackjack is a simplified version of the popular card game, Blackjack. The vast majority of the gameplay remains the same. The objective is to get as close to 21 or "Blackjack" as possible while maintaining more points than the dealer, and beat the dealer. If you exceed 21 then you lose your hand, and thus, one life.

In the Clash of Streamers version, you have to do a buy-in upfront (with Casino Chips or Gems) on one of four stakes - that then gives you three lives. Every time you play a hand, one of your lives is at risk, and if you happen to win a hand, you can earn a certain amount of stars depending on your hand. You can, like the other games, win a maximum of 12 stars which yields the best rewards.

Player Decisions

After receiving the initial 2 cards, the player can decide between the following three options:

  • Card - The player receives another card from the dealer. This process can be repeated until the player exceeds 21.
  • Double - The player puts 2 lives at risk and is dealt an additional card that is facing down. If the player wins, he earns double the amount of stars.
  • Stand - The player waits until the timer hits 0. In this case the player is not dealt any additional cards.

 Cards Value

Blackjack cards value.png

The card value stays the same as it is in the classic version of Blackjack. Number cards count as their natural value and the face cards (Jack, Queen, King) count as 10. The exceptions are aces which are valued 1 or 11 according to the player's hand. For example, if the player is at 16 and is given an Ace, the value will go to 17, because a value of 11 would put the player over 21, thus, losing their hand. The ace will be worth 11 if the sum of the player's hand is worth 10 or less.

Stars Rewards

1 star - win against the dealer.

2 stars - win by getting 21 (blackjack) with more than two cards.

3 stars - win by getting 21 (blackjack) through the initial 2 cards you are dealt.

4 stars - win by 6-Card Charlie (when a player reaches a total of 21 while they have 6 cards in their hand, meaning, a 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and a 1 card).
